'The Office' Star Jenna Fischer Is Engaged!

Just as her Office counterpart Pam Beesly prepares to tie the knot with Jim Halpert (aka John Krasinski), the real Jenna Fischer has announced some exciting news of her own. The actress is engaged to her boyfriend of a year and a half, writer Lee Kirk. Kirk popped the question on June 30, while the couple was on vacation in Europe. And although they've been dating for a while, Kirk escorted Fischer on the red carpet for the first time at the Emmy Awards last fall, where she affectionately introduced him as "my super-cute boyfriend."According to People, it's Kirk's first time to wed, but the ceremony will mark Fischer's second time down the aisle. She was hitched once before to director James Gunn, but the two divorced in 2007.
